Large Fluorapophyllite & Stilbite

Item Description

A dramatic, large, stacked combination specimen the January, 2013 find from Nashik. Large, blocky, very glassy, "sandwich-style" pseudocubic apophyllite crystals with mint-green interiors and colorless rims are dramatically intergrown and colorfully accented with pearlescent light-peach stilbite crystals. The imposing dominating crystal is 6.4 x 6.3 x 4.5 cm. The striking large doubly terminated stilbite is 8.3 cm. This is a most impressive 360-degree specimen, with very turn presenting a strikingly different perspective. In great shape. The basal attachment has minimal impact to the high quality of this fine sculptural combinationn. Valued at $1250-1500.
