Striking, beautiful mint-green, glassy, lustrous, tetragonal apophyllite crystal with sharp pyramidal terminations are dramatically set on the impressive, sculptural large two-sided rib covered with starkly contrasting large pearlescent stilbite blades. The fantastic doubly terminated apophyllite in the center is 3.8 cm and the imposed upright crystal on the left is 3.3 cm tall. This is an exceptional, pristine and RARE large example of the combination style from Mumbai, and is probably from the famous and extinct Malad Quarry. This quarry has been closed for 20-30 years, due to population growth. Ex Joan Abella i Creus Collection and acquired in 20099. Valued at $1500-2000 rare style, high quality and size.
