Item Description
"Fishtail" twinned gypsum crystals are a classic, very uncommon and desirable varietal from the famed mines at Naica. This impressive large 360-degree example has classic form highlighting the translucent, satin lustre stacked blades. Specimens of this habit, size and quality came out 30-40 years ago. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, for such a soft mineral, with only a few trivial areas of scuffing. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection and acquired in 1985. An outstanding large and classic fishtail twin from Naica.
