Stunning sculptural large two-sided glassy faden quartz from one of the two primary Pakistan localities for the species - the finest in the world. The faden or "string" lies within the fabulous curved parallel column of larger doubly terminated and single quartz crystals. The prominent doubly terminated crystal is 4.8 cm and has an odd flattened hexagonal shape, as do 2 other crystals on this line. The rest of the crystals have the typical tabular form. An otherworldly complement is the dramatic enechelon cluster of terminated elongated CURVED crystals at the base of the larger crystal column. Complete all-around and pristine, the small attachment is at the end with the small crystal cluster. An exceptional, large and highly unusual faden quartz with real style from a German collection acquired from finds in 1999. MUCH better in person!! Valued $1000-or so
