Stunning, large, flattened, floater, doubly terminated and pristine gem smoky quartz crystal from an unknown pegmatite in Diamantina, Minas Gerais. The dramatically sculptural, extremely glassy and lustrous crystal has fine light smoky color. The darker appearing edges and rippled to stepped-growth faces on both sides add real pizzazz to this exotic and rare style large smoky quartz crystal. Ex Taylor Hunt Collection. A must for the species or locality collector.
