Large Epidote w/ Prehnite (excellent)

Item Description

Incredibly rich and sculptural large two-sided epidote with prehnite specimen from Mali. The striking triangular specimen is festooned with tightly intergrown, lustrous, olive-green to dark green to nearly black epidote prisms with a few nicely scattered green prehnite botryoids. The impressive doubly terminated crystal on the edge is 7.0 cm and the large opening beneath it adds dramatic pizzazz. The crestal DT crystal is 6.0 cm and the protruding crystal on the other edge is 3.5 cm. This superb large and sculptural combination is pristine, except for the bit of acceptable contacting at the top. Specimens of this size and quality are RARE.
