large Epidote, Prehnite & Stilbite (rare combo)

A RARE, rich, impressive and sculptural large two-sided combination from Mali. Lustrous, dark with a bit of light olive-green epidote prisms, to 3.3 cm (some terminated), are dramatically scattered jackstraw-style on the undulating matrix of beautiful rich mint-green, translucent, bladed prehnite botryoids. The back hosts a major surprise and bonus. Pearlescent ivory-colored stilbite blades with a light yellow tint are festooned on the back of the piece. Stilbites of this richness are RARE from any Mali locale. The impressive massive prehnite matrix is up to 6.7 cm thick and GLOWS, when backlit! Some broken epidotes are noted, as is the acceptable periphery wear. This remains an exceptional, rare large combination from the locale. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $185 for free. Valued at $2000 for size, rareness, combination quality and richness.
