Wow! This fantastic large epidote "feather" is composed of super glassy and gemmy, parallel-growth, doubly terminated, tabular, olive-green prisms. A stunning aspect of this exceptional piece is the dramatic epidote faden or "string" that runs the length of the specimen! The piece looks great from either side and is essentially pristine. Contacting, where noted, has very little actual damage. An outstanding large Tormiq epidote from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Valued at $1200 by Herb more than six years ago, today's value is $1750-2000.
