Item Description

An oustanding and aesthetic large emerald crystal cluster from the world's largest emerald deposit. The crystals have rich green color saturation, good to excellent luster, textbook hexagonal form and moderate translucence. A striking piece, most interesting piece, as you can see places where the crystals were broken by pocket forces, offset, malleable schist was squeezed between the pieces and then rehealed. While these crystals certainly are not as gemmy as good Colombian ones, note that this is an old Brazilian emerald specimen - far rarer. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality. Very rare on the market in this size and aesthetic quality. 89 grams mass. Valued at $2500 and worth it.
