Item Description

A stunning, 10.0 cm, translucent, pleasing bright green, emerald crystal is strikingly set on quartz-rich matrix on this dramatic specimen from recent Chinese finds. While these hexagonal crystals certainly are not as gemmy as good Colombian ones, they are lustrous, translucent and have good color. The emerald is lightly contacted on both ends. A very highly representative large example of the species from this locality.
