Large DT twinned Calcite xls (Consie Prince Coll.)

Item Description

Dramatically stacked large doubly terminated and twinned calcite crystals from famed Elmwood. The glassy, transparent to translucent have the desirable gemmy, golden-amber terminations, sharp twinning planes and the different forms of the terminations on both ends adds much character. Amazingly, nearly pristine. The two large golden tips have only very trivial bruising. A couple of small limestone fragments are embedded in the front and the primary attachment is the limestone embedded on the upper crystal in the back. A very fine large older example of this classic from the Consie Prince Collection. Valued at $600-800.
