Item Description
Glorious, rich golden-amber color extends the entire length of this exceptional, large, doubly terminated crystal from the famous Elmwood Mine. Impressively, the crystal also has two twinning planes to compliment very high luster, glassiness and beautiful transparent to translucent sections of the crystal. The gem terminations are a highlight. Complete all-around and in great shape, it displays beautifully without aid from both sides. The attachment point at the base is out-of-sight in both views. Both terminations have very gentle cleaves, with are certainly only a modest detraction. Valued at $2500 for size, uncommon uniform rich color and quality. This is from the old midwest collection of Dr Gary Hansen.
