Schorl specimens of this size and quality are RARE from Galileia and this is an exceptional example from the Art Soregaroli Collection. This impressive, tapered, parallel-growth trigonal pencil has high luster and is doubly terminated. One end is a matte pinacoid and the other is etched. Strikingly, it is also slightly bent! Complete all-around and pristine. The attached side cars add much pizzazz and their contacting has no impact to the overall superior quality of this very fine example. A must for the species or locality collector. This is a highly interesting black tourmaline crystal!
