Item Description
A dramatic large parallel-growth cluster of doubly terminated quartz crystals from this long-abandoned Ontario quartz mine. The mine opened in 1951 and specimens of this quality are seldom on the market today. All four of the large crystals are doubly terminated and are lightly tapered. They are mostly water-clear and have lightly frosted faces. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. A trivial bruise to a termination and the contact attachment are out-of-sight on the back. A fascinating, sculptural and rare 360-degree quartz from the Robert Nowakowski Collection. The piece probably dates to the 1950s or 60s.
