Item Description

Dramatic 360-degree visual appeal on this striking and RARE large quartz from an older, now-obscure Sichuan Province locale. Three sculptural doubly terminated parallel-growth crystals dominate the piece. Two of the hexagonal prisms are strongly tapered with the third being equant and accented with multiple basal terminations. The impressive large tapered crystal is 17.4 cm long. The large crystals are predominately water-clear with some translucent areas. Stepped-growth enhances both the glass-clear and satin lustre prism faces. The back side has a striking overgrowth of secondary and tertiary quartz crystals adding character. Close examination of all sides with a 10X hand lenses indicates that this exceptional large quartz appears to be a RARE complete and pristine floater! It has multiple display possibilities.
