RARE and impressive large quartz from a very obscure Sichuan Province locale. The aesthetic parallel-growth pair of limpid, strongly tapered doubly terminated crystals are dramatically embellished by stepped-growth faces and preferential glass-clear, satin luster and secondary quartz overgrowth faces, adding real pizzazz to this striking and rare large quartz. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only the two lower terminations being dinged and contacted, which is certainly only a modest detraction.
