Large DT Herkimer Quartz "diamond"

Item Description

An impressive, large, doubly terminated Herkimer quartz "diamond". The large crystal looks like a cut octahedral gem. The very glassy crystal is water-clear, with the internal veils adding character and giving off pretty rainbows, depending on the light incidence. This fine large crystal is from a nearby, less well-known New York locale. Complete all-around and in great shape. The tip is gently bruised and a contact is noted on the left-center with a bit of embedded clay. The contact on the back is out-of-sight. Impress your friends with a huge "diamond"!
