Large DT Gypsum xl (Trimingham Coll.)

Item Description

An impressive, large and rare gypsum crystal from an unknown Mohave County locality. The striking, sharply doubly terminated, tabular floater crystal is classically laminated, transparent to translucent and has high waxy luster. Complete all-around and in great shape, with only very trivial edge wear and side wear, for such a soft mineral. Looks just like famous Santa Eulalia material, but it's not. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and acquired in 1974. A must for the Arizona or species collector.
