A dramatic and impressive, large and stout, gemmy doubly terminated baryte crystal from the major 2012 find at this well-known undergrown limestone mine. The sculptural form, intense glassiness, striking broad terminations and variable amounts of clay inclusions (some fabulously dentritic) really add pizzazz to this superb and important large example. The bit of attached limestone matrix on the back and the two well-placed side car crystals add even more character to this exciting specimen. Pristine, except for a very slight bruise along one edge. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $145, for free. Valued at $2500-3000 for size and outstanding quality.
