A stunningly long, tapered "icicle" of quartz from Diamantina. In person, it is actually more transparent than the photos indicate. The crystal faces are very lightly frosted and have a nifty, rippled, stepped-growth. The narrow termination is steep, offset, prismatic, while the fat end has dramatic multiple terminations. This impressive floater monster is very nearly pristine, with only super-trivial termination edgewear on the ends. 2.4 pounds or just over a kilo. valued $1200-1500
