Item Description
This is a HUGE, remarkably complete, doubly terminated, compound sceptered crystal of dravite tourmaline from its classic locality. It is 1056 grams or 2.3 pounds mass. Crystals from this mine have graced collections for a long time as examples of stereotypical crystal habit, and of big tourmaline. But this monster is in a class of its own, with exceptional form and luster. This one I think is worth a lot more than the usual sort of this material and far exceeds most I have handled...very impressive, in person! Ex Art Soregaroli Collection. Valued at $1250-1500.
