Item Description
A rare, large, dramatic, old-time beryl specimen from this well-known feldspar-mica and specimen pegmatite mine. This doubly terminated, slightly translucent, yellow-green, hexagonal beryl has incredible contact impressions from other beryl crystals with no damage. Complete all-around and pristine, some cleavelandite blades are embedded on a back prism face. There is an old cloth label on the lower termination - a style characteristic of many early 1900s collectors. An outstanding and rare large example of the species and locale from the Bob Trimingham Collection. A must for the species or locality collector. Value??
