A robust large, doubly terminated, hexagonal bastnasite crystal from finds that have redefined the species. The lustrous, partially translucent crystal is root beer-brown and has unusual secondary termination overgrowths of crinkly light brown bastnasite. Complete all-around and in excellent shape. The back is contacted, shows better translucence, but has little actual damage. An impresssive large doubly terminated crystal from the find. 10 years ago, this would have been $10,000. Value today is $950-1250.
