A fantastic and rare HUGE amazonite crystal from this well-known Nevada pegmatite. The sharp, lustrous, euhedral crystal has beautiful variable rich turquoise-blue color and typical for the locale, mottled and striped faces. The crystal is also doubly terminated. One face is festooned with tiny embedded schorl needles, adding much character and color that is rare for the locale. The contacted back of the crystal is out-of-sight. It has damage to one back edge as well, but again this is out of sight as I would display it. This is an important and very uncommon large Zapot amazonite combination. NEVER on the market in this size and quality. A MUST for the Nevada or species collector. 6.6 pounds or 3 kilos mass. Valued at $2000-3000.
