Large Datolite w/Chalcopyrite (New Find)

Item Description

From an exciting recent find from this famous locality. Very glassy, translucent, sharp, variably pretty mint-green datolite crystals are aesthetically clustered on this impressive large piece. Crystals reach 5.5 cm and the preferential rich peppering of metallic-gray, chalcopyrite sphenoids along with a few iridescent crystals is a super accent and contract. The interior is pristine and the noted periphery wear is certainly only a very modest detraction to this impressive piece. These compare favorably with Dal'negorsk datolites. A very fine large combination specimen from this find with two excellent display views.
