Item Description
An impressive and sculptural large cerussite from Tsumeb. The classic, very robust cyclic-twin has fine adamantine luster, water-clear to translucent limbs with sharp, tapered, knife-edge terminations. The striking skeletal features add dramatic pizzazz to this exceptional two-sided specimen. The bit of bruising noted on the termination edges is certainly only a modest detraction to this fine classic. This would be a $6000 to 8000 specimen, if perfect. Fairly valued at $3000-4000. Cyclic-twins of this size and quality are RARE on the market, as cerussite is a signature species from this world-famous mine. An important Tsumeb cerussite.
