The Art Soregaroli label says this impressive and rich large creedite specimen is from the Bell Molybdenum Mine, Tonopah, Nye County. There is no Bell Mine with creedite in Nye County. The creedite resembles material from the well-known former Mo-Cu-Ag-Au Bell Mine. Scintillating, gemmy lavender microcrystals line three striking enechelon vugs in the quartz-rich matrix with much creedite and some sulfides. Specimens of this size and richness are RARE. The piece displays very well without aid. A must for the species or locality collector.
