Imposing and fascinating large old postmining artifact from the famous mines at Bisbee. Microcrystalline copper has replaced a sculptural curved fragment of a wood mine beam! The contrasting offwhite coating on the front edges and covering the back is an unknown mineral with tiny pearlescent, acicular crystals. Uncommon and desirable material from the Dennis Mullane Bisbee Collection. Valued at $1000.
