Large color-zoned Fluorite w/ Galena slab

A dynamic, dramatically sculptural and colorful large fluorite and galena slab from the famous Minerva Mine. Fantastic sharp, violet, purple and blue edge phantoms along the striking termination frame the near colorless and beautiful sky-blue interior of this very large fluorite crystal. The large galena sections on the left and bottom right are super accessories. The front is coated and the piece has been repaired in several places. It remains an outstanding, colorful and sculptural large example of fluorite and galena from Illinois. It comes with a custom-made lucite base valued at $205, for free. A super display specimen.
