Item Description
An extraordinarily fine and large color-zoned fluorite from the famous Denton Mine. All three sides of the lustrous cube with frosted faces highlight the dramatic color-zoning with the golden-amber core strikingly and beautifully surrounded by sharp, purple, pretty sky-blue and purple edge phantoms. The bit of noted edge and corner wear can be strongly minimized on this outstanding large Illinois fluorite with multiple display possibilities. Moderate purple fluoresence. Classic material. Fairly valued at $2000-2500 in today's market which is robust for fluorites of this style. It probably dates to the 1980s or 1990s
