Item Description

Truly an impressive LARGE CABINET galena specimen from the well-known Nikolaevskiy Mine at Dal'negorsk. This is a fabulous, two-sided rib covered with sharp galena crystals. Lustrous, battleship-gray, cuboctahedrons to a large 6.3 cm have dramatic fortification features, that enhance the visual display of this monster. A bit of scattered periphery wear is noted, but has very minimal impact on the overall qualith of this striking, 3-diemensional specimen. Certainly an important and very uncommon large example of the species and locale for the collector interested in galena or Dal'negorsk. Ex Zukowski Collection. 15.9 pounds or 7.2 kilos.
