Item Description
Natural citrine quartz crystals of good quality are uncommon worldwide. This impressive, large, doubly terminated, mostly translucent to partialy transparent (at primary termination), obelisk has pretty golden-amber color graded up to interesting grayish-smoky at the termination with lightly frosted faces all-around. The partial stepped-growth prism faces add character. Complete all-around and in excellent shape. The primary termination has a trivial bit of edge wear and rubbing. The striking stepped-growth basal termination has just a bit of bruising and one side, near the base has a large contact, where another crystal once lay, but no damage, per se. Excellent and facinating doubly terminated material. This new find from Zambia elevates the species. This is by far, the largest crystal we obtained in the small lot.
