Large Chalcedony stalactite

An impressive and huge multi-hued and multi-layered, translucent and nubby chalcedony stalactite from a recent find in Java, Indonesia. The knob at the end and the preferential coating on the stalactite is noteworthy. It looks like a club! The broken base reveals the large-diameter hollow tube (1.0 cm), where the silica-rich solutions flowed to form the stalactite. This one has colors from tan to lavender. Pristine. Dramatic, colorful and unusual material from an exotic locale for mineral specimens! Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $125 on its own, for free.
