Item Description
A stunning, large, cerussite crystal from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. This very glassy, mountain peak-shaped crystal is strikingly bicolored. The core is very gemmy, nearly transparent variable shades of smoke-amber and the parallel-growth phantoms really stand out. The outer portion is transparent to translucent, amber to coloress cerussite. The side faces and termination are super sharp, nearly pristine, with only a trivial bit of edgewear. Both presentation faces are contacted, but are damage-free! This is an impressive, large cerussite from the Larry Krause Collection. Heavy lead at 225 grams. Valued at $950.
