Item Description

Numerous, sharp, adamantine luster, translucent, smoky-brown, pseudo-octahedral, sixling-twinned Cerussite crystals, with several to 2.2 cm, are attractively scattered on the sculptural matrix plate with contrasting and complementary clusters of pinkish, oxide-tinted Baryte blades. Many of the cerussite crystals rest on etched Galena, the mother ore for the cerussites and is a striking accessory and complement. Most of this impressive, significant and rich large cerussite, baryte and uncommon galena from famed Mibladen is pristine. The bit of bruising on the upper left periphery and to the interior in the lower right center are noted, but are certainly minimal detractions. Yellow LW UV cerussite fluorescence.
