Dramatic, sculptural and RARE large 360-degree celestine and and colemanite combination from one of the well-known extinct borate mines in the Furnace Creek Mining District. Pretty, gemmy, small, light steel-blue, terminated, tabular Celestine crystals are richly and colorfully peppered on the striking coral-like branching clusters of pearlescent, bone-white Colemanite prisms. Complete all-around and in great shape. The two impressive large coral heads are pristine. The bit of bruising to the colemanite at the base of the large coral head on one side is noted, but is certainly a modest detraction to this formidable large rarity. The former dealer label has a $650 price from over 10 years ago. Mass is 900 grams or 2.0 pounds. The district is now in Death Valley National Park.
