Item Description

A spectacular large Copper Queen Mine cave calcite. This striking, arborescent cluster of lustrous, brown, parallel-growth scalenohedrons is probably a compound stalactite. The form is very fine on this 360-degree specimen with the many crystals of various sizes and differing termination styles. Exceptionally well-preserved (pristine) for this large size and classic style. An important Bisbee calcite, most likely from the Southwest Mine. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and recently collected prior to the 1991 date, according to his label.
