A striking, highly sculptural and rare, old-time, large "stream tin" cassiterite specimen from the James Zigras Collection. The dramatic elongated piece looks like a classic Chinese dragon with a snout and head. The gray botryoids across the top are the curved/coiled body of the dragon! A most impressive and rare large specimen from Zacatecas. Seldom available, as most such pieces are smelted down for the rich tin ore. Value???
