A dramatic large sawed and polished banded malachite nodule from the Lavender Pit at famed Bisbee. This classic old-time large piece has stunning dense, beautifully chatoyant and sculptural banding. The myriad of swirl patterns is surreal. Dense, high-grade lapidary or carving material with high luster at 1217 grams or 2.7 pounds mass. Formerly in the Carey Parshall Collection and valued by respected Arizona specialist Les Presmyk at $1500.
