Item Description
A large, 2.5 cm, sharp, silvery-bright, carrollite crystal is jauntily set on the side of blocky, calcite rhomb matrix on this striking and excellent specimen from Katanga. The splendent crystal, with nifty wedge-like form, has a very sharp termination. Unusual and dramatic, this large piece has impact! Good matrix carrollites, such as this, are not very common. They are usually in massive, ugly calcite or rock. This is from the finds of around 2000-2002. Valued $1500
