A spectacular, RARE, rich and sculptural large mounded calcite specimen from the famous Potosi Mine at Santa Eulalia. Fantastic, rare strongly notched interpenetrating calcite twins are dramatically and richly scattered on an earlier generation of smaller calcites. The stunning sharp light brown twins, to 3.7 cm, are lustrous, glassy and translucent. Our thanks to noted Santa Eulalia and Mexico expert and author, Dr. Peter Megaw, for narrowly defining the locality in the mine of this superb large rarity.
