A sculptural and impressive large 'T-shaped' combination from the famous Verchniy Mine. Large, glassy, complex calcite rhombs, to 4.0 cm, are dramatically lined up on the matrix festooned with tiny, lustrous ilvaite crystals. The colorless, translucent rhombs have frosted, nifty, stepped-growth or smooth faces. The rhombs are essentially pristine, with only the most trivial of rubbing. This excellent piece also displays very well, without aid, from one end. Dal'negorsk, likeTsumeb, is legendary for calcite quality and diversity and this is a very fine combination example.
