Striking, very glassy, translucent, tan intergrown calcite rhombs have fantastic, dense, stepped-growth faces. The dramatic large frontal rhomb is 12.3 cm and is doubly terminated. Very artistic flanking patches of pearlescent dolomite rhombs with a bit of matrix are superlative accessories to this very fine large calcite combination from the Raul Sanabria Collection (a Spanish exploration ge3ologist, he built an impressive collection of the classic Spain localities).
