An impressive and sculptural large calcite and dolomite specimen with matrix from this famous Asturias fluorite and calcite mine. Striking, very glassy, translucent, tan intergrown calcite rhombs have fantastic, dense, stepped-growth faces. The dramatic large frontal rhomb is 12.3 cm and is doubly terminated. Very artistic flanking patches of pearlescent dolomite rhombs with a bit of matrix are superlative accessories to this very fine large calcite combination from the Allen Dillwith Collection.
