Item Description
A classic, impressive and rich large plate of variable red hematite-included calcite rhombs from the famous Potosi Mine at Santa Eulalia. The very glassy, lustrous and translucent complex rhombs reach 4.0 cm and many are interestingly intergrown. The large rhombs rest on an earlier generation of tiny, sparkly hematite-included dogtooth calcite crystals, adding allure. An imposing, large and rich two-generation calcite from this noted locale.
