Large Calcite on Fluorite

Item Description

This dramatic large combination from the famous Denton Mine has one face totally covered with lustrous, translucent, amber calcite scalenohedrons. Two other faces of the blocky, translucent purple fluorite matrix have aesthetically placed calcites. The calcites reach 6.5 cm and a few are doubly terminated. In great shape overall, for such rich coverage and large size, with only a few gently bruised calcite tips. Classic large combination material with multiple display views. 6.2 pounds or 2.8 kilos mass.
