Item Description
A stunning large calcite and barite combination from the famous Elmwood Mine. Two striking large intergrown, twinned gemmy calcites, to 11.7 cm, are aesthetically set on the sculptural large massive barite matrix. These crystals have the highly desirable gem golden-amber terminations. A glassy, nearly colorless, twinned, 7.4 cm, calcite is dramatically set on the barite matrix and is a super compliment to the golden calcites. The crystals don't fluoresce, but they do have a supernatural golden glow under UV light!! Choice older combination material from the Paul Zerfass Collection. The display quality of this 360-degree piece is outstanding. This would be a $7000-10,000 or higher, if the tips on all three crystals weren't gently bruised. Valued at $2000-2500.
