Item Description
An impressive, large, 9.9 x 7.2 x 0.8 cm, pokerchip calcite wafer is dramatically set upright with smaller calcites attached at the base on this exceptionally fine example from the 2nd Sovietskiy Mine. The translucent crystal has a silky luster with a light yellow iron oxide tinting. The modest bit of noted edge wear has very minimal impact to the overall fine quality of this striking crystal. It looks great from either side. Orange-pink fluorescence. Older, very uncommon in this quality and size material from the 1990s to early 2000s finds at Dal'negorsk, legendary for calcite quality and diversity. Value?? Ex Art Soregaroli Collection.
