Large Calcite coated w/ Dolomite (rare) ex Obodda

A dramatic, amazingly sculptural and rare large combination from the well-known Nikolaevskiy Mine. Dolomite is very uncommon from Dal'negorsk, but here we have fantastic, intergrown, large, blocky calcite rhombs completely coated with tan mico dolomite rhombs. The calcites reach 8.1 cm long. The broken calcites on the base fluoresce pink. This outstanding older piece is from 1990s to early 2000s finds and has multiple striking display views. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
