A stunning large and pristine 6.8 cm nailhead calcite rhomb dominates this impressive, very aesthetic and rich large two-sided rib from the famous Xianghualing Mine. The second largest rhomb is 6.1 cm and the sculptural matrix plate is totally covered with smaller nailhead rhombs. The lustrous, translucent gray rhombs have satin lustre faces nicely accented with subtle striations. Many more rhombs on the back look like scintillating jewels and are a fine bonus. Faint fluorescence. Exceptional large pristine older calcite from the late 1990s finds. Valued $2000 and worth it.
